Aamna is a passionate psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She believes in an integrative and client centered approach to therapy where she collaboratively works with clients and their families to cater to an array of developmental, social, emotional, and mental health needs. Aamna has an interest in working with neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, behavioural and emotional difficulties, stress management, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships, and parenting support.
She utilises a range of evidence-based practices, including, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, as well as strategies related to attachment models, mindfulness practices, and parent coaching sessions.
Originally from Pakistan, Aamna is able to provide support in English and Urdu and can support individuals with culturally diverse backgrounds.
Aamna strongly believes in creating a safe space for her clients and to develop a therapeutic relationship where clients feel connected and empowered to build a roadmap of their goals and to collaboratively work through to achieve those goals within their therapy journey.
