Tayla is passionate about working with people across the entire lifespan. She has experience working in both the public and private sectors with a variety of difficulties, ranging from depression and anxiety to behavioural concerns, trauma, sleep issues and challenges related to neurodiversity. Tayla gets just as much joy from building emotional regulation skills in young children as she does from honest conversations to help people make meaning in their twilight years, and everything in between. She has a warm, compassionate, and authentic approach and brings humour and playfulness to the therapeutic space in order to build a strong relationship with all of her clients.

Tayla uses a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness techniques. Tayla believes that all individuals have innate desire and potential to do well in life and works from a holistic and individualised perspective to achieve positive, meaningful outcomes for each person. She feels privileged to be able to work closely with individuals to build their psychological skillset and undergo a journey of self-discovery to get through life’s hardest days and cherish the better ones.
